COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
This is an intensive course that uses a blended learning approach of a combination of lectures to cover the underpinning theoretical knowledge, practical exercises conducted using the real time Liquid Gas Handling simulator (G-Sim), de-briefing sessions and guided study where appropriate. Regular assessments are conducted throughout and have to be successfully completed for the full certificate to be awarded.
Upon completion and a successful assessment the delegate will receive a certificate issued by GTT Training Ltd.

COURSE OVERVIEW
TO IMPROVE THE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND PRACTICAL SKILLS OF THOSE PERSONS INVOLVED IN THE HANDLING OF LNG ON VESSELS USING LNG AS A MARINE FUEL.
THIS COURSE FOCUSES ON ENSURING UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRINCIPLES INVOLVED, AND THE UNDERTAKING OF ALL OPERATIONS RELATING TO THE STORAGE AND HANDLING OF LNG AND ITS USE AS A FUEL, IN A SAFE AND EFFICIENT MANNER. The course encompasses all the subjects related to the undertaking of all the operations that may be conducted within the LNG Fuel Gas Handling system in a typical drydock to drydock voyage cycle, including the commencement and completion of a bunkering operation. As such the course covers all the theory and practical knowledge required for each subject area and the competence requirements as defined by SGMF where applicable including:
Review of Gas Laws and Properties of LNG
Preparation for the bunkering of LNG including, Inerting, Gassing Up (if applicable) and Cooldown
Fuel Storage Systems
Undertaking of Bunkering operations, including prepartion, transfer and post transfer
Operation of the Fuel Gas Handling Systems for pressure management and supply of gas to consumers
Preparation for maintence including Warming Up and Gas Freeing of all and parts of the FGHS.
